Paper Wallet Import Guide

Before you begin, you’ll need to download the Electra QT wallet. The QT wallet links are below “Electra Wallets” heading.

Windows

  1. Unlock your Wallet. From the menu bar, click on Settings then Unlock Wallet
  2. Click on the Help button from the menu bar.
  3. Select ‘Debug window’
  4. Click on the ‘Console’ option
  5. Type importprivkey privatekeyhere “label” (BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE “”)
  6. Navigate to the Electra folder
    1. Location – C:\Program Files (x86)\Electracoin\Electracoin wallet
  7. Hold down the Shift key + Right Click
  8. Open Powershell
  9. Type in .\Electra-qt.exe -rescan

MacOS

  1. Unlock your Wallet. From the menu bar, click on Settings à Unlock Wallet
  2. Click on the Help button from the menu bar.
  3. Select ‘Debug window’
  4. Click on the ‘Console’ option
  5. Type importprivkey privatekeyhere “label” (BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE “”)
  6. Open the Mac Terminal Console
  7. Type in /Applications/Electra-Qt.app/Contents/MacOS/Electra-Qt -rescan

Linux / Ubuntu

  1. Unlock your Wallet. From the menu bar, click on Settings then Unlock Wallet
  2. Click on the Help button from the menu bar.
  3. Select ‘Debug window’
  4. Click on the ‘Console’ option
  5. Type importprivkey privatekeyhere “label” (BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE “”)
  6. Open the Terminal Console
  7. Type in /home/username/src/Electra/Electra-qt -rescan
